Jurassic World Dominion is a 2022 sci-fi thriller film directed and co-written by Colin Trevorrow from the screenplay by Emily Carmichael and Derek Connolly.
It is the sixth film in the Jurassic franchise and serves the direct sequel to the 2018 Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom that ends up with the beginning of neo-Jurassic age where dinosaurs and humans co-exist.
This film sets in after four years after the demolishment of Isla Nublar. The fragile balance between humans and dinosaurs will reshape as history’s most fearsome creatures are evolving to a greater extent. Jurassic World 3 is now streaming in cinemas worldwide.
Where Was Jurassic World Dominion Filmed?
Jurassic World Dominion was filmed inside British Columbia, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Valetta, Atlanta, and Hawaiian island. Filming began in February 2020 inside Merritt, BC, Canada but halted on 13 March 2020 as a result of Covid-19 pandemic. The shooting began on 15 June 2020 with safety protocols considering the pandemic.
Filming resumed at UK’s Pinewood Studios on 4 July 2020 when several cast members tested positive for Covid-19. On 6 October, it was announced that the film was delayed by a year until June 2022 due to several delays in the filming process.
Filming resumed on 23 October and wrapped up officially on 7 November 2020 inside Atlanta, Georgia(known for filming The Lost City, Moon Knight, Valet, Senior Year). The Hawaiian island used in the film was O’ahu. It is famously known as The Gathering Place is surrounded by ocean and mountains.
Most of the filming took place inside Hampshire and Buckinghamshire. Hampshire is located in South East England, Hawley Common and Minley Woods were utilized for filming purposes. Inside Buckinghamshire, more than 100 sets were created for the production of Jurassic World Dominion.
After United Kingdom, Valletta is another major shooting location for the film. Valetta is the capital city of Malta where escape scenes were filmed. The scene where Owen is running away from the dinosaurs while riding dirt bike was reportedly shot there. Other landmarks featured in the scene were St. George Square and St. Anne Street.

Synopsis
