Undercover Holiday is the latest family romance movie of Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas programming event. The movie is scheduled to premiere on 4 Dec 2022 at 8/7c only on Hallmark Channel.
Directed by Bradley Walsh, the film stars Noemi Gonzalez and Stephen Huszar in the lead role of Jaylen and Matt where Jaylen is a newly minted pop star who is trying to concince her overprotective family that her security guard is her new secret boyfriend.
Nina Weinman has written the screenplay while Sherri Ruth and Jeffrey Vanderwal are executive producers for the movie produced under CineFlix Productions.
Where was Hallmark’s Undercover Holiday filmed?
Undercover Holiday was filmed in and around Brantford city of Ontario, Canada. Principal shooting began on Wednesday, 12 October 2022 in the morning at 7:00 AM and wrapped up on Friday, 14 October 2022. The set was decorated in winter looks with various things.
Dalhousie St and George St were decorated with the artificial snow. The city website posted a notice that the road and sidewalk on George St including the intermittent sidewalk on the north side of Dalhousie St will remain closed from 12/10/22 to 14/10/22.
The filming notice also mentioned that the basecamp is located at the Civic center. To give the place a Christmassy vibe, lots of fake snow was used and the production camp was setup in a special lighting. Also, a noise exemption permit was obtained from the city to allow filming after 11 AM.
Civic Center was used for filming the interior scenes while the outdoor scenes were shot on Dalhousie Street and George Street. The civic center is known for hosting a number of hockey, sporting events, live shows, and skating clubs.
The Canadian provinces are quite popular among Hallmark moviemakers. Some recently filmed movies of the Channel are The Holiday Stocking and Inventing the Christmas.

Synopsis
The movie follows a pop star who is returning to her home to rebuild her lost friendships. Jaylen is a popstar who has just got a chance to get a home tour to celebrate the traditional Rodriguez family Christmas but there is a problem.
Her secret admirer is asking for her relationship status and even her overzealous fans are dying to see her beau this Christmas. The celebrity doesn’t want to upset her fans and family on this auspicious occasion. So, she pretends that her security guard is her boyfriend but will she able to maintain the repo with the former Navy seal?
