Cast
The cast for season 2 will be similar as in season 1. However, there maybe some additions and subtractions but the main characters will remain on their place. You have heard the voice of Naoya Uchida and Hiroki Yasumoto in first installment. In the second season of Vinland Saga anime, you may also heard voices as Akio Ôtsuka, Yûto Uemura, and Kenshô Ono along with the introduction of some new voices.
What will happen in Vinland Saga Season 2?
As per our predictions, Season 2 will continue the chapter 55 of the manga series known as the Slave arc. Canute will make Thorfinn his slave without harming him. Later on, Canute will hand over him to a kind and good farmer so that his slave can help the good farmer. Now, Canute will focus on expanding his area in Denmark and England.
Thorfinn is sold in Scandinavian slave trade where he met another slave named Einar. Both slaves decide to fight for their freedom and rights. On the other hand, Askeladd is dead so this time Thorfinn has to help himself alone.
Season 1 Ending Explained
As you have seen in the season 1 ending, the empire is in the control of Danish prince Canute. Askeladd feigned madness and beheaded the king to sacrifice himself so that Canute can get the throne. Throfinn has lost control and before he can attack newly appointed prince, he got trapped. Now, he has lost his lost his life’s purpose as well as will to live.
Plot
The story moves around Thorfinn who came from a powerful family known for their legendary works. Vikings are the greatest as they can defeat anyone who stands in their way. The merciless revenge and violence of the legendary Vikings will boil your blood and give you goosebumps.
But a tragedy happened one day, our main protagonist’s father had been murdered by someone. On that day, he decides and oath to become the strongest Vikings and started his training so that he can withstand any gruesome enemy. He spends his entire boyhood training himself only to take vengeance for her father’s death.
