The Eminence in Shadow Episode 8 is going to be the most-exciting episode of the whole anime series as it will show the fate of Cid. Is he dead after the lethal attack of Shadow Garden or he is just fainted? The rest of the story will be revealed in the next episode of the series.

Based on the Japanese light novel series Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! written by Daisuke Aizawa and illustrated by Tozai, the dark fantasy anime series follows an ordinary man who gets reincarnated into a world of magic as a young boy who wants to pursue his dream of becoming the shadow expert.

The Eminence in Shadow Episode 8 Release Date and Time

The 8th episode of Eminence in Shadow titled ‘TarSwordsman Academy’ is set to premiere on Wednesday, 23 Nov 2022 at 22:30 JST on AT-X inside Japan and will simulcast on HIDIVE at 2:30 PM EDT(along with Reincarnated as a Sword Episode Ep 9) for the viewers living in the United States.

Studio Nexus has confirmed that there will be a total of 20 episodes which will air in the form of two parts. First part is about to end with the 10th episode and the second part will begin airing in early 2023 with another 10 episodes.

The release timings of The Eminence in Shadow Episode 8 will be different for distinct regions as follows:

Episode 7 Recap

The seventh episode begins with Nu informing Cid about the murderer she interrogated. She reveals that he is a foot soldier who is working under the influence of drugs and magic. Cid participates in a sword tournament and fight with student president princess Rose. The protagonist managed to keep his skills hidden while dealing with severe injuries.

Sherry wants to date Cid but Cid decides to avoid her. However, Sherry manages to befriend Cid on showing that she is principal’s daughter. Now, Sherry feels impatient about Cid’s relationship with Alexia. So, she visits Alexia’s place who reveals that they never actually started dating each other.

In the ending scene, a Gaunt Knight generates an anti magic barrier that resists all kind of magic. The fake Shadow Garden team manages to capture the academy and is now finishing everyone who is coming in their way.
