Sweet Tooth Season 2 will probably be announced in August 2021 as the show renewal happens almost 2-3 months after the official release of a season. If that happens then a new season will be released around late 2022. The American fantasy drama is getting popular among kids and parents whose story is based on the comic book of the same name written by Jeff Lemire. However, Jim Mickle create the series for Netflix.
Sweet Tooth Season 2 Release Date on Netflix
The first season of Sweet Tooth premiered on 4 June 2021 on Netflix, if it has been renewed for another season then we can expect Sweet Tooth Season 2 to be released in September 2022. There will be 6-10 episodes in the upcoming season with an average running time of 45 minutes.

Most of all the cast members will return for their roles in Sweet Tooth season 2 as there is no character whose role is finished in the series. So, it is safe to assume that all the crew members will reprise their roles.

Season 1 Ending
In the ending of season 1, we saw General Steven Abbot was able to capture Gus along with various hybrids and this time Dr. Aditya Singh is having enough guinea pigs for his experiment. Probably, this is the time to discover a cure to treat those hybrids but nothing comes easy. So, someone might give up his/her life for the miraculous science experiment.
Hopefully, Big Man and Amy find a way to break into the lab and save their kid from the evil hands of Abbot. Moreover, Bear was able to establish a connection with her radio with Birdie on the other line. Bear finds out that she is in Alaska and this is the location where the virus began.
Sweet Tooth Season 2 Plot
Season 2 will pick up the story after the final episode of season 1 where our heroes were facing extreme difficulties. Hopefully, Gus will be able to meet his sick mother again but this will happen only if he is able to get out of the camp. The plot-twisting here will gonna be very important, they might shift the scene towards science when Dr. Aditya is able to make the vaccine successfully or shift the plot towards the spiritual side as mentioned in the comic book.
