Reincarnated as a Sword Episode 8 is coming out this Wednesday at its scheduled time to continue the journey of Fran and the Teacher. The isekai anime series is directed by Shinji Ishihara, written by Takahiro Nagano, and produced by C2C animation Studio.
Based on a light novel series of the same name written by Yuu Tanaka and illustrated by Llo, the story follows a protagonist who gets reincarnated as a sword in a fantasy world and becomes the divine weapon of a catgirl slave named Fran.
The seinen manga was originally published under Gentosha Magazine in December 2016 and the English dubbed versions were released by Seven Seas Entertainment inside North America. The manga and light novel series is still ongoing like Chainsaw Man anime.

Episode 7 Recap
The episode begins with August spotting the lies of Fran but as the story progresses, he become miserable on his condition. Teacher notices that August is falsely accusing commoners with his falsehood skill and doing wrong things to maintain his charm among the superiors.
August even claims the whole dungeon loot as the compensation to Fran’s lying but Klimt refuses by saying that the treasure belongs to adventurers. Then, Teacher secretly steals the Falsehood and Etiquette skills of August that make him socially awkward and less popular.
On the other hand, Fran gets promoted to D rank and become more charming with the Etiquette skill. Moreover, Teacher makes the curry that he promised and other food items so that Fran will not feel tired on longer journeys.
In the ending scene, a dysfunctional zombie like August appears in front of Fran to avenge for his humiliation. He has also hired an assassin named Blue Cat to assassinate her.

In Reincarnated as a Sword Episode 8, Fran will confront one of her long time enemy. It will be interesting to see how Teacher will save her from the wrath of Blue Cat, the species known for hunting catgirls.
