National Treasure 3 Release Date is not yet officially announced but a third part is happening for sure, that will be released someday in 2022. The production for the new National Treasure is underway with all the previous cast reprising their roles. The first movie was released back in 2004 that become a box office hit, a sequel was aired in US cinemas in 2007 that too become a blockbuster. But after that, the production house is only delaying it for a third part. Let’s find out what exactly happening with the producers and company.
National Treasure 3 Release Date and Time
National Treasure 3 is confirmed to arrive in the future but no official release date has been announced yet by the Walt Disney Company. However, we can expect it to be released around July 2022 on Disney+ if filming wrapped up at the end of 2021.
The film was renewed in 2008 right after one year of releasing second part 2 of National Treasure movie. In 2010, Bruckheimer confirmed that he was having too much fun completing the first draft of screenplay and in 2016, Nicolas Cage revealed that a third film was under development. Finally, the script was completed in Sep 2017 but here begins the actual problem because the Disney was not satisfied with the storyline.
Chris Bremmer was hired in Jan 2020 to write a new script to take out the movie from development hell. In May 2021, Bruckheimer confirmed that all the original cast members will be returned in the coming movie. Moreover, a Disney+ series is in development but will there be Descendants 4.

What will happen in National Treasure 3?
Since no trailer or teaser is available at the moment, it will be hard to predict what’s gonna happen next in the Nicolas Cage’s film. As the storyline leads by an amateur cryptologist, Benjamin who is looking for a hidden treasure worth tons of gold. While looking through his discovery, he found a secret code written behind the declaration of America’s independence and that guides him to the real national treasure.
The first film moves around saving the declaration of Independence code from being stolen while the second part Book of Secrets was more inclined towards the assassination history of President Abraham Lincoln. The book exposed Gates as the child of conspirator who was involved in the assassination of Lincoln. His ancestor were part of the crime and who was involved in the killing of president.
Probably, the upcoming movie will take us outside the United States and shows exploring other ancient civilizations such as India, Middle East, Thailand, Indonesia, etc.
