This movie follows Kendra, a brand new college student at a fancy HBCU (that’s Historically Black College or University, for the newbies).
She’s juggling classes, a work-study job, and trying not to fall for her super cute photo class partner, Ben. Sounds familiar, right? But hold on, there’s a twist!
Kendra’s gotta make some tough choices about what she really wants, and it’s not always easy. And as expected, Kendra messes up, Ben messes up, and they both gotta learn from it.
There’s this amazing message about following your dreams, even when it feels scary. Overall, the movie is good for most students.
