Legacies season 4 has been officially confirmed by TheCW Networks as per a report and tweet by the official twitter handle of the Legacies on 4 February 2021. The American supernatural fantasy series is based on Hope Mikaelson, the descendent of most powerful vampire, werewolf, and witch bloodline who attends Salvatore school and continue her magical journey. This series has released 3 seasons so far and now season 4 is about to air. Let’s find out when will the season 4 of Legacies air?
Legacies Season 4 Release Date
Legacies Season 4 will be released on 14 October 2021 at 9:00 PM EDT on TheCW Networks and Amazon Prime Video inside the United States. There will be a total of 16 episodes in this season with an average running time of 42 minutes.
Legacies Season 3 Ending Explained
In the season 3 episode 16 finale, we saw Cleo needs to steal Leoardo da Vinci casual from her ex-boyfriend but she wasn’t having enough confidence to travel alone the memory lane. First, she has to melt one of his art works and then combine it with a vial of Hope’s blood. Then, her spell become capable of trapping Malivore.
But, Malivore was standing right after him and she wasn’t able to spot him until Clarke burst into the hotel in search for Malivore’s portal. Then, it is revealed that what we were perceiving as Landon was Malivore in disguise and he has absorbed Cleo by taking down the Clarke. Finally, Hope Mikaelson confronted Malivore along with her friends and family. She realized that to reach her full potential of her powers, she has to transform herself into a Tribrid and the episode concludes on a cliffhanger.
Cast
Most of the characters will come to reprise their roles in the Legacies season 4 as Danielle Rose Russell as Hope Mikaelson, Jenny Boyd as Lizzie Saltzman, Nick Fink as Ryan Clarke, Ben Geurens as Malivore Chris Lee as Kaleb, Quincy Fouse as MG, Kaylee Bryant as Josie Saltzman. Others who play significant roles are Matt Davis as Alaric Saltzman, Ben Levin as Jed, Leo Howard as Ethan. Landon and Cleo has been eaten by the Malivore and it is not confirmed that they will return in season 4 or not.

Hope and her friends come together to save Landon from Malivore who has taken control over his body but still Landon is having his memory so he is still fighting from Malivore inside. On the other hand, Josie and Finch are enjoying sometime alone on a date but the later will bring up something unexpected that she might not be ready to talk about.
S04 Ep02. There’s No I In Team, or Whatever(21 Oct 2021)
Josie has joined Hope’s risky plan along with Lizzie, Kaleb, and Ethan to save Landon and free him from control of Malivore. On meeting with Cleo, Landon will learn more about her along with the reimagination of past memories.

Season 4 Fan Theories
Various theories are coming that Hope is becoming tribrid while it has been suggested that the finale didn’t ended as it seems to be. There was a plan to have 20 episodes in total but due to pandemic the remaining 4 episodes will come along with season 4. So, the finale was not as much surprising and it has been said that Landon made a deal with his father that results in Malivore to take over his body but when did this switch happen? Season 4 will also throw some light on the escape plan of Hope and Landon from Prison world.
