Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 will be the finale season of the post apocalyptic action anime series that will conclude the AOT. The anime is set to return on 9 Jan 2022 for its last season. It will marks the end of AOT franchise with final showdown and the death of some important characters. The story follows the same plot as it sets in a post apocalyptic world where surviving humans are struggling to live among giant monsters, known as Titans. Eren will continue to hunt those humanoids who killed his family and destroyed his home in Survey Cops.
Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 Release Date and Time
Attack on Titan Season 4 part 2 ep 1 titled ‘Judgement’ will air on 9 Jan 2022 at 12:05 AM JST on NHK General Channel according to the official teaser released on the official website of AOT. There will be a total of 12 episodes in this season with an average running time of 22 minutes. New episodes will also start premiering from on Crunchyroll(worldwide) in original Japanese audio and English subtitles. Timings will vary for distinct regions.
Episode 75 was premiered on 29 March 2021 and the part 2 will open the story after that. There is no news regarding the episode numbers but we can speculate that the upcoming season will also having 10-16 episodes in total like the previous seasons. Before the premiere of new episodes, NHK has aired six compilation special episodes that have covered the summary of previous 75 episodes. All the four seasons of the anime series are streaming on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
The anime series premiered its first season in 2013, second one after four years that is in 2017, and then the anime series become one of the must watch anime among fans and starts premiering new season every year. Season three in 2018, four in 2019, fifth season 1st in 2021 and now a part 2 will airing from January 2022.
Who will return in AOT Season 4 Part 2?
Most of the anime staff will return to reprise their roles in Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2. Yuichiro Hayashi will return at MAPPA to direct the anime, scriptwriter role will be continued by Hiroshi Seko, Tomohiro Kishi will be casting as the character designer. While Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto will put their efforts in the music composing.
Someone has been waiting for past 2000 years as shown in the finale season teaser. The battle is going to take a turn since most of heroes have died in last season.
