The Real Reason why The Expanse Season 7 will not happen???

The Expanse season 7 was officially cancelled by Amazon in Nov 2020 but why? What was the main reason behind it? Why was our favorite season cancelled? This Amazon Original sci-fi web series is so popular among science-fiction lovers, the story sets in the future where humans have captured the whole solar system and started a new life on different planets. However, it is not based on a true story but the idea is inspired by novels written by James S.A. Corey. The series has accumulated fans worldwide with its extraordinary sci-fi scenes that makes it a legendary web series of Prime Video.

Unfortunately, there will be no seventh season of The Expanse Season 6 was announced as the finale season of the series by Amazon Studios and after Vernon Sanders only expressed his gratitude to the fans without revealing any renewal details. No official announcements has been heard from the creators since that time regarding the revival of the series. Six seasons have covered 6 parts of James SA Corey book series leaving 3 books which will be adapted in the new season.

Why was The Expanse Season 7 cancelled?

The sixth season of The Expanse concluded with a happy ending so there are no rooms for a sequel season that can continue the ongoing story. Moreover, on 24 Nov 2020 the 6th season of the sci-fi show was announced as the last season of the series.

As per our research, a single episode of The Expanse costs approximately $2 to $5 Million and if there will be two more seasons then they will be way more expensive. Ending the expanse sucks but this is how industry works.
