The Unforgivable is an emotional drama film whose story follows a woman who tries to return back into her normal life after serving her time in prison. It stars Graham King and Sandra Bullock in the lead role along with other supporting cast members. The film has been directed by Nora Fingscheidt and the story written by Peter Craig based on the 2009 novel Unforgiven by Sally Wainwright. Where was The Unforgivable filmed?
Netflix’s The Unforgivable was filmed entirely in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. According to reports, the original filming began on 3 Feb 2020 and concluded in 15 October 2020. The filming took a long time because of the Covid-19 pandemic that forced the producers to halt the production in the middle. Filming was paused on 13 Mar 2020 and resumed back after five months gap in Sep 2, 2020 and finally finished on 15 October of the same year.
The indoor scenes were filmed inside Canadian Motion Picture Park Studios in Burnaby(Revenant location) while the river scene of the film was shot in Surrey region of BC. Some outdoor scenes featuring urban areas have been shot in Coquitlam region located in the lower mainland of British Columbia. Especially, Ruth’s family farmhouse scenes were shot there.

Plot
The Unforgivable is the story of Ruth Slater who come out from prison after serving for 20 years. She discovers no hope in living outside and only feels bad to see that she is being treated as a second class citizen. Moreover, she searches for her long-lost sister who can hold her.
