Texas Chainsaw Massacre is the latest nerve-shredding horror movie that everyone has been waiting for. Directed by David Blue Garcia, the movie serves as the direct sequel to the Texas Chain Saw Massacre(1974 film) and the ninth installment of TCM franchise. The latest film focuses on a serial killer named Leatherface who is killing all the businessman after coming out from a tragedy himself. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2022 filming locations
Even though, the film sets in Texas, the actual filming was done inside Sofia, Bulgaria. The shooting began in August 17, 2020 and wrapped up within October of the same year covering almost three months. Nu Boyana Film Studios is the major shooting place where most of the movie was filmed.
After the filming commenced in Aug 2020, the studio fired two directors(Ryan and Andy Tohill) because they didn’t like what they were shooting. Then, David Garcia was hired as the new director and the clip shot by Tohill Brothers wouldn’t be used. Sofia is famous for its mix of Ottoman, Soviet, Roman, and Greek history which also serves as the shooting location for various romantic films as Her Pen Pal, After We Fell, etc.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2022 Synopsis
After hiding for 50 years, Leatherface is ready to terrorize a group of young friends. His main targets are businessman and the vengeful survivors of his previous murders. The whole scene started because Melody plans with her entrepreneur friends to renovate a small area of Harlow, Texas but the sweet trip ended up into a nightmare. Their arrival sparked the anger of a serial killer who was behind 1973 killing spree and is back again to slaughter them.
