I Love That For You was entirely filmed inside LA, California at the Paramount Studios. Principal filming began in February 2022 and was completed within the fourth week of March 2022 but the post production process took two weeks of April. The city of Los Angeles is the best place to shoot such an idealistic series with cool environment, long highways, mesmerizing landscape and the busy bars that makes this place as the city of angels.
Most of the filming took place within the Paramount studios while some outdoor scenes were filmed near the Griffith Observatory located on the observatory road, 1.6 miles from Paramount Studios, Veronica shared on Instagram along with some behind the scenes moments. CirqueSanity is another underrated location where some scenes were shot, the place is located on Melrose Ave and is just one minute away from Paramount Picture Studio Tour. A woman overcomes childhood leukemia to achieve her big dream of becoming an host for a shopping channel.
In the first episode, teenage Joanna(Sophie Pollono) finds out how to convert her misfortune of being a cancer patient to something productive. Instead of getting sad and depressed, she trips a nurse(Tara Karsian) and ask her parents to purchase a gold bracelet for her. The event happened after she saw Special Value network host Jackie(Molly Shannon) speaking something on TV, she looks sick but she is still going.
The inspiring journey of Joanna begins within the first episode and kept going till the finale episode. When Joanna shyly shows her bracelet to Jackie that she bought as a teen, the emotions are completely earnest.
