Synopsis
The Hallmark movie Heart of the Matter follows an accomplished but young cardiologist Andie Hodges(played by Aimee Teagarden) who has a passion of treating patients with best care and she even prides on herself with this ability. But the accidental death of one of her patient Henry(Chandler Massey) left her shaken and create a huge impact on her life. She starts doubting her abilities and questions herself if she really deserves to remain a doctor.
A meeting with Henry’s angry mother Gladys(Gail O’Grady) depresses her further and a malpractice lawsuit starts to loom on her along with the unwanted sanctions from medical review board. Finding herself in the utter depression, Andie rethinks about her lovely relationship with Patrick(Andrew Zachar). Patrick seems to be the only man who is always supportive for her.
