There is no fixed date for new episodes release because of some production issues. There will be a total of 8 episodes in this season that will be based on the true stories of Jesus Christ.

The Chosen Season 2 Episode 4 Explained

In episode 4, we saw that Jesus and his followers move towards Jerusalem for celebrating Sukkot. Inside Jerusalem, they met a disabled man, Jesse who is poor and unable to stand-up on his legs.

While celebrating Feast of Tabernacles, disciples enjoy the dinner. Jesus decides to travel through Bethesda Pool along with Simon, Matthew, and John. After that Simon Z says bye to his brother and wishes him good for his journey. On their way, Jesus meets Simon Z’s brother and asks him if he wants to heal.

Yanni and other Pharisees got angry when Jesus healed him in front of him who was actually never able to walk. When the person standup on two legs and was taking his mat with him, the priest warns him on violating rules of Shabbat. The healed person keeps on moving by asking his pardon as he has to find his lost brother, Simon Z who has joined Fourth Philosophy now.

Jesse talks about the healing abilities of Jesus to his brother and he started to search the healer. The episode ends when one of Rabbi’s companions asks him why he spent 30 minutes on Jesse. On to which Jesus replied, sometimes you just need to stir the water.
