Why was Ordinary Joe Cancelled?
Ordinary Joe was cancelled in March 2022 after one season because the show didn’t receive enough viewership and popularity that boosts the confidence of the creators to bring another season. NBC also cancelled the show due to financial reasons as the show didn’t able to bring enough money on the table as they were expecting.
The idea behind the series was interesting but due to poor execution, we will not be able to see a new season of our favorite Ordinary Joe. If they keep the characters in one timeline without blending then it would be much better. Most of all the characters have portrayed their role well and they look interesting at one place while boring at another place.
You know, we can also ignore the fact that everyone has different point of view but literally you will lose interest after fourth or fifth episode. It seems that the talents are wasted because of timeline mixing. Ordinary Joe Season 2 can still happen as a spinoff if the creators can make another plan of presentation, series can be continued as a movie.

Plot
Ordinary Joe follows the story of Joe in his three parallel timelines, starting from 10 years after his graduation as a police officer, as a music star, and as a nurse. The series show the effects of choosing each career like if he chose to become a dashing police officer by following his father’s footsteps then he will get a chance to reunite with Amy. If he follows his passion then he can become a musician and husband of Amy whereas if he marries his college sweetheart Jenny then he has to become a supporting nurse.
The story will continue Joe’s journey as three different characters at a same time Ordinary Joe Season 2 but since the series has been cancelled, we can’t anticipate that much.
