The Mandalorian Season 3 is an upcoming American sci-fi TV series produced by Fairview Entertainment, Golem Creations, and Lucasfilm for Disney+. It stars Pedro Pascal as the main character Din Djarin along with other co-stars Giancarlo Esposito and Carl Weathers. The series continue the story right after season 2 of Mandolorian ended and the sixth episode of The Book of Boba Fett. Return of the Jedi(1983 film) was released as a part of Star Wars franchise and all season of Mandalorians follow the events that took place after 1983 film.
When does Mandalorian season 3 come out?
Season 3 of Mando is expected to arrive in Sep 2022 on Disney+. It will be having a total of eight episodes with an average runtime of 48 minutes. No release date has been announced by the creators as of now but Jon Favreau has to say that the Mandalorian season 3 is in production since The Book of Boba Fett finished.
Pedro Pascal, the lead actor was busy with HBO’s The Last of Us filming in Aug 2021 so the shooting started in next month. Even though Pascal is the main character, Lucasfilm doesn’t always need him on the set as his role is wearing helmet for the new episodes.
Filming Locations
The shooting for the series took place at Manhattan Beach Studios Media Campus inside Los Angeles, California. Principal Photography began on Sep 20, 2021 and wrapped up on 23 March 2022 according to a report by Parade. Most of the filming took place inside Studios only and some scenes were shoot outside under the working title Buccaneer.

What to expect from the Mandalorian Season 3?
Mando defeated the Gideon in season 2 and come into the possession of ancient lightsaber whom Bo-Katan is looking from a very long time. The main character will come across Bo-Katan in season 3 who is madly looking for the lightsaber to become powerful but Mando will use this ancient sword to keep Baby Yoda safe. Also, Mando will declare to Bo that if she helped him in saving the child then he will reward her with anything she want.
So, Bo-Katan will demand for the Darksaber but Gideon come along to inform that she can’t have it. In order to acquire it, she has to defeat the Mandolarian in a battle and the saber doesn’t possess any power but the person who holds it has. Luke Skywalker can be seen making his appearance in the latest season of Mandalorian as things are going to take an ugly turn in the new episodes and the only person who can save Grogu(Baby Yoda) besides Mando is none other than Luke Skywalker.
