Komi San Season 3 is an upcoming season of the slice of life comedy romantic anime series directed by Ayumu Watanabe & written by Deko Akao under OLM Studio. The anime TV series is based on the original manga series Komi Can’t Communicate written and illustrated by Tomohito Oda.

It has been serialized in Shogakukan’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday since May 2016 and has published more than 20 volumes. An anime adaptation was announced in May 2021 and the series started airing on 7 Oct 2021.

Will there be a season 3 of Komi San?

Season 3 of Komi San isn’t yet officially confirmed by Netflix but it is expected to renew soon. Fans can be hopeful that a new season is about to come because the series is topping the anime charts on Netflix.

Komi has a communication disorder anime director Ayumu Watanabe has also shared his excitement to direct the upcoming seasons of the series.

He revealed in an exclusive interview with Looper that any director would love to work on whatever they are working on until the end. Ayumu said that he would love to direct other seasons, at least until they graduate.

Komi Can’t Communicate Season 3 Release Date and Time

Komi San Season 3 is expected to release around January 2023 if the renewal is announced within July 2022. It will have a total of 12 episodes with an average length of 22 minutes.

The second season of the anime TV series has just ended with a promising gesture from Shoko Komi in which she is wishing Tadano to have another good year together.

As the season ended with an open scene, we can expect Komi San season 3 to continue the story from Komi’s second year. As she is seen wishing Tadano, that means she and him are definitely in the same class this year too.

Currently, there are two seasons of Komi Can’t Communicate. Each season is having 12 episodes making a total of 24 episodes.

The anime series is streaming on Netflix right now. All the episodes are available in subbed and English dubbed versions. When the new episodes will come out, they will also be added on Netflix.

What will happen in Komi San Season 3?

As the second year of high school is about to start, Komi will be able to make new friends. However, she will be sad to know that most of her friends are now in different sections.

Even though, most of her friends are transferred into different classes, she still has Tadano by her side. That is confirmed because she was seen talking to him on the first day of second year.

She asked Tadano to get along with her this year and that’s because she and him are again in the same class. What a big relief for Komi. But the question is, will new classmates of Komi accept her?

She has almost 20 friends now but still she is not good at communication. Her problem won’t go away without the help of her friends. Only Tadano is left in her class.

The good thing is, Komi will also have some good time with him and she finally got the chance to talk about some personal stuff. However, the girl has to talk with other classmates in order to fulfil her dream of making 100 friends.

Komi San Season 3 will bring lots of new surprises any sweet moments of Komi and Tadano.
