Jeepers Creepers 4 is one of the most-anticipated film among horror movie fans and is now officially announced to premiere this year in 2022. The new movie will release with the Reborn title, directed by Timo Vuorensola and written by Sean Michael Argo. The movie had changed the director after Victor Salva’s criminal controversy making the film as the first part to be created by a different director other than Salva. Screen Media Films acquired the distribution rights to the film in Feb 2021 and is planned to release soon.
Jeepers Creepers 4 Release Date and Time
Jeepers Creepers 4 is scheduled to release in 2022 inside US cinemas. The film was first planned to release in Feb 2021 but got delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic and the distribution rights transfer to Screen Media Films was also an event that caused a shift in the release date, CB reported.
The film is most likely to be released around August 2022 like the other Jeepers Creepers film. Moreover, Hocus Pocus 2 will also premiere this year.
Filming Locations
The filming for the Jeepers Creepers 4 began on 23 Oct 2020 inside Jackson, Louisiana that lasted for only 3 days with most of the filming taking place at Orwo Studios. The crew moved to UK after a week on 1 Nov to complete rest of the shooting.
Due to pandemic, the filming in United Kingdom was split into 2 parts: first one began in 23 Nov and wrapped up on 19 Dec at Black Hangar Studios while the second part shot from Jan to Feb 2021. In the same month of filming wrap up, it was announced that Screen Media Films had acquired the distribution rights for the film in US and Canada.

What will happen in Jeepers Creepers: Reborn?
The film is completely separated from other three films of the franchise so we can expect to see something different from this movie. Moreover, the official synopsis reads as the movie unfolds the mysterious secrets of Horror Hound Festival event in Louisiana where a large amount of tourist couples are gathering to celebrate the event including geeks and freaks of different regions. One of them is Chase and his girlfriend Laine who is forced to travel through the deadly festival.
As we can can expect from any Jeepers Creepers, Laine starts to have dark visions and horrific murders related to the old events associated with the town’s past. The person who is creating a massacre is none other than infamous The Creeper who is known as the local legend.
