Review

The movie begins with a surprise when Captain Pete Maverick is assigned to train a group of best aircraft pilots. Pete takes this amusing offer and become a part of it later. His character is well portrayed in the movie.

As the movie progresses, we get to see the fear, complications due to gravity, and other issues that a pilot faces while riding in the fighter aircraft. Pete presents himself as the enemy of his group and his experience pays off, he manages to break the overconfident candidates and recollects them to work together as a team.

However, there are some places where we find Pete cursing himself and that’s where we reconnect with him. The sadness can be seen clearly on his face while training the son of his partner Goose who martyred in the last mission while saving him.

At first sight, both of them appears to be the enemy of each other. Bradley hates Maverick so much because he took out his papers that delayed his admission in the Naval academy for 4 years. Actually, there was a reason why Maverick did that, you will know while watching the movie.

As the mission progresses, Pete shows confidence in the man and appoints him as his supporting wingman. The film is full of patriotic emotions and some scenes are completely hilarious while most of the scenes are full of seriousness.

This sequel is rated 8.7 out of 10 on IMDb and we will also rate the same because it has everything that an excellent military film should have.
