The Essex Serpent is a period drama TV series directed by Clio Barnard and developed by Anna Symon whose story is based on the 2016 gothic romance novel of the same name written by British author Sarah Perry. It stars Tom Hiddleston(popularly known for LOKI) and Claire Danes in the main roles whose love story is the main attraction of the whole series.
