The Essex Serpent is a period drama TV series directed by Clio Barnard and developed by Anna Symon whose story is based on the 2016 gothic romance novel of the same name written by British author Sarah Perry. It stars Tom Hiddleston(popularly known for LOKI) and Claire Danes in the main roles whose love story is the main attraction of the whole series.
The Apple TV+ original follows a widow named Cora who moves to Essex in an attempt to investigate reports about a mythical serpent and forms a special bond with a local pastor that comes to offer his help.

Synopsis
Cora Seaborne is a widower from London who is finally pursuing her interests after finding herself in a murky situation when she went to investigate a local legend of a serpent by abducting townsfolk.
However, the townsfolk seem to distrust her as an outsider but hopefully she met a local vicar named Will Ransome and develops a special bond of friendship. But the local community has not been kind to her, they start to blame Cora and her new friend doesn’t seem to help her for long.
