Created by Bert V. Royal, Cruel Summer is an American thriller TV series sets in 1993 inside the sleepy town of Skyline, Texas. The story moves around the disappearance of a popular teenager, Kate Wallis whose body found in the basement of a local man one year later of her disappearance. Coincidentally, the man also died during the rescue operation.

Episode 4 Recap
In the episode 4 of Cruel Summer, we discover out that Jeanette will not be who we predict she is. Did she have it in her to go away Kate behind? We have moved ahead to July 15, 1993, 1994, and 1995.
We begin in 1993, Kate’s father and his daughter, Ashley are going over gun security in storage and Kate walks in. We soar to 1994, Kate is strolling around her home. She is having flashbacks to being locked within the basement. Kate becomes close to Mallory also spotted Jamie and Jeanette are kissing.
Each episode shows a completely different story on particular days in 1993, 1994, and 1995.
Cruel Summer Episode 5 Spoilers
The upcoming episode will show an encounter between Kate and Jeanette as the later starts following the prior. However, Derek will soon discover that Jeanette is spying Kate and rebuke her for doing that. Jamie finds out that Kate memories are incoherent.
Kate might share some old memories inside a hall of mirrors. But no one stood towards Jeanette’s side but her father and also Kate might put the past behind her.
