Blood of Zeus Season 2 Release Date, Trailer, Cast, Expected Plot

The highly anticipated Blood of Zeus season 2 is finally set to premiere. The first season of the show was a huge success, with fans all over the world eagerly awaiting the next installment.

The second season of the show is set to build on the foundations laid in the first season, with the Parlapanides brothers promising that viewers will be taken on an even bigger and more epic journey.

Jason O’Mara is set to return as the voice of Zeus, and he will be joined by an all-star cast that includes Derek Phillips as Heron, Jessica Henwick as Alexia, Elias Toufexis as Seraphim, Adam Croasdell as Apollo, and Matthew Mercer as Hermes.

Will there be a Season 2 of Blood of ZEUS?

It has been quite some time since the announcement for the second season of Blood of Zeus was made. However, fans of the show can rest assured that it is still in production. The anime studio behind the show, Powerhouse, is very successful in its productions and has managed to get renewals for many of its shows from Netflix.

The production times for animations are notoriously long, and the first season of Blood of Zeus took about 1.5 years to prepare. However, more than 2.5 years have passed since the announcement of the second season. This has led to many fans speculating about the release date of the show.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there have been many delays in the production of anime. However, considering the elapsed time, we think that an announcement for the show’s return will be made soon. Estimates are that the anime will return to screens in early 2023.

Blood of Zeus Season 2 Cast

Blood of Zeus

No word has been said yet about which voice actors (if any) will be joining the show for season 2, but fans can expect all their favorites from last season to come back, including Derek Phillips as Heron, Jessica Henwick as Alexia, Elias Toufexis as Seraphim, Adam Croasdell as Apollo, and Matthew Mercer as Hermes.

In the season 1 finale, Zeus (Jason O’Mara) sacrificed his life to protect his wife, Hera (Claudia Christian). Hera was badly injured the last time we saw her, but she managed to escape, likely to plot her next plan of attack. Regardless, as immortal gods in a universe where magic exists, a resurrection isn’t out of the question, and it also sounds as though some flashbacks could be in the cards (but more on that later). Suffice to say, fans shouldn’t say goodbye to these characters just yet.

There’s also Hades (Fred Tatasciore) who made a brief appearance last season. It seems likely that the Greek god of the underworld will be the primary antagonist in season 2, which means a much larger role for Tatasciore.
