Directed by Greg Carter, Hip Hop Family Christmas is an American family holiday drama based on the theme of festival and togetherness. It follows a talented and famous hip hop family known as Nixons who are pulled down with negative press and shattered with the negative news spreading all over. They try to save their reputation by creating a Christmas special that can reunite their family. The filming locations featured in the movie looks adorable and the best part about place is, students from all over the country can enroll in the film school to learn the art of filmmaking.

Vh1’s Hip Hop Family Christmas was filmed in Houston, Texas during Oct 2021 and wrapped up within a few weeks, Terrence Jenkins shared on Instagram. Most of the filming took place in Houston, southeastern part of Texas. The movie is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, Nexus Films, and Foxhole Productions.
