Netflix’s crime drama The Gentlemen is expanding its world in Season 2, and that expansion isn’t just happening in the story.
Filming for the second season of the hit series from Guy Ritchie began in August 2025 and concluded in October 2025.
Where the first season spent a lot of time in England, whether in its rural countryside or London’s criminal underworld, to which no British person would be so bold as to refer as suave, this new season pushes the narrative beyond those bounds and most significantly into Italy.
Every filming location for The Gentlemen Season 2 explained – from grand aristocratic estates in England to glitzy lakeside towns in northern Italy.
The Gentlemen Season 2 Filming Locations
London, England
Most of the production for The Gentlemen Season 2 once again took place in London, which continues to serve as the central hub for Eddie Horniman’s criminal empire.

Multiple exterior scenes were reportedly shot across different districts of the city, while interiors were filmed at large studio complexes and historic buildings.
Key London filming sites include:
The Reform Club – Pall Mall
One of the most recognizable locations used in the series is the historic private members’ club in Pall Mall.
The Italian Renaissance–style building was previously used in Season 1 as the fictional Pinky’s Club, where key deals between aristocrats and criminal figures unfold.
The glamorous space is perfectly matched to the show’s theme: a world where high society collides with organized crime.
Printworks London
The converted industrial printing factory that became an entertainment venue also made a cameo in the series, offering gritty contrast to London’s elite clubs. With the story’s dark chapters, the site’s cavernous interiors and underground aesthetic match beautifully.

Production Studios in West London
Large portions of interior filming for the show were completed in professional studio facilities around West London, allowing the production team to recreate the interiors of mansions, warehouses, and crime dens used throughout the series.
Hertfordshire, England
The second most important filming location for the series is the English countryside – in particular, the county of Hertfordshire.
Wrotham Park
Wrotham Park, the grand neo-Palladian estate, has served as one of the series’ opulent country homes.
The stately property has also been seen in several high-profile productions, including The Crown and Bridgerton, so has long proved a draw for period and aristocratic dramas.
In The Gentlemen, such locales help you sketch the aristocratic world that Eddie inherits – one that conceals a giant underground cannabis empire.
Buckinghamshire, England
Stoke Court – Stoke Poges
The production also filmed scenes at Stoke Court, a historic 15th-century manor located in the village of Stoke Poges.
The estate has served as an interior location representing parts of the Horniman estate and other aristocratic settings in the show.
These country-seat estates are still central to the show’s visual identity, emphasizing how old British aristocracy contrasts with contemporary criminal enterprises.
Italy Filming Locations
The biggest difference will be how far the show spreads its wings in Season 2: perforating into Italy, a reflection of how much more ambitious Eddie and Susie’s crime business is.
Much of the filming had moved to northern Italy in summer 2025 according to production reports.
Lake Maggiore, Northern Italy
The most prominent international filming location for Season 2 is Lake Maggiore.
Located in northern Italy along the border of Switzerland, Lake Maggiore is known for its luxury villas, historic towns, and dramatic Alpine scenery.
Set photos from production show actors filming scenes on boats across the lake – suggesting that some of the story’s criminal dealings will take place in the region’s glamorous waterfront settings.
The location represents a major tonal shift for the show, moving from rainy English estates to sun-soaked Mediterranean landscapes.
Verbania, Piedmont
Some of the scenes were filmed in the lakeside town of Verbania in Italy’s northern Piedmont region.
Verbania, on the western shore of Lake Maggiore, boasts elegant waterfront promenades and historic villas.
Production crews were seen filming around the town’s harbor areas, with scenes reportedly landing on boats and waterfront properties – a suggestion that the Italian storyline might be based on international smuggling or criminal alliances.
Milan, Lombardy
Filming has also allegedly occurred in Milan, the financial heart of Italy.
Milan’s stature as a hub of enterprise, haute couture and global finance represents a perfect backdrop for the expanding criminal networks in the series.
The city is likely the urban centre for the Italian plot, in contrast to a major lakeside setting of Lake Maggiore.
Why Italy became the most important place in season 2?
The second season is intentionally “more expansive – both geographically and narratively,” according to series creator Guy Ritchie.
The new locations also represent how Eddie and Susie’s business is moving from a British operation to a wider European network.
By moving part of the story to Italy, the show introduces new criminal players, international power struggles, and a broader scale of conflict.
When was The Gentlemen Season 2 Filmed?
Filming for the new season began in April 2025 in the United Kingdom, then continued to Italy for summer filming before wrapping up in October 2025. The eight-part season should arrive on Netflix sometime in 2026.
