The new Hallmark romance movie Holiday Hotline transports us to the picturesque Winnipeg district of Manitoba Province in Canada through its filming locations.
Mark Jean directed the movie from a script written by Duane Poole and Julie Sherman Wolfe, the movie follows the story of two strangers who meet on a holiday and fall in love.
Ellie Kanner, Howard Braunstein, and Joey Plager are executive producers and Juliette Hagopian is the producer under Love Birds Films Inc.

Holiday Hotline was filmed in Winnipeg district of Manitoba province in Canada during the course of three weeks. The shooting began on Sept 18 and finished on Oct 9, 2023, as per Actra reporting.
Winnipeg provided a perfect wintry backdrop for Holiday Hotline. The cast and crew filmed at locations across the city to capture the Christmas spirit.
Downtown Winnipeg was decorated for the holidays during the filming dates, allowing the movie to showcase festive streets, shops, and buildings.
The Forks is shown covered in twinkling lights with a large Christmas tree on display, creating a magical holiday setting.
Mylva Volk, the sweet child actress posted a beautiful picture of her on Instagram to celebrate her First Day on the filming set.
From her picture, we can say that she joined the cast on the 12th day of the beginning of principal photography.
Cora Matheson posted a photo of her on the set during the final days of filming. She previously shared a few pictures to show the arrival of fall season in Winnipeg.
Local businesses, restaurants, shops, hotels and private residences opened their doors for production crews. If you are a resident you can spot many local establishments throughout the movie.
Some of the shooting was done behind Cinematheque, a non-profit film and arts organization founded by a group of film enthusiasts who wanted to create a space where people could come together to watch and discuss films. It has since grown to become one of the leading film centres in Canada.
A whole beautiful holiday set was created behind Dave Barber Cinematheque during the WNDX Festival of Moving Image, an event held in Winnipeg every year.
Dave Barber Cinematheque is located just 2 Kms away towards west of The Forks at 100 Arthur St, Winnipeg. It screens the best Canadian world cinema highlighting those underrepresented artists that deserves some recognition, as per their official website.
This year, the event was held between 4-8 October and that’s why filmmakers decided to capture the actual beauty of WNDX festival of Moving Image.
