Don’t Look Up is an American sci-fi movie directed, written, and produced by Adam McKay that follows Dr. Randall Mindy and Kate Dibiasky who tries to draw the attention of government and media to an unidentified comet that is about to destroy the life on our planet Earth within coming six months. It is a satire of govt and media indifference to climate crisis and is dedicated to American music producer Hal Willner who died in 2020. The film shows a lot of drama and various facts that needs to be considered by the media along with good scenes.
Don’t Look Up Filming Locations
Don’t Look Up 2021 movie was filmed mostly inside Massachusetts during Nov 18, 2020 to 18 Feb 2021 following all the Covid-19 rules and precautions. Some scenes were also filmed inside Washington DC, New York, Michigan, and Hawaii.

Most of the filming took place in Boston City in which Federal Street and Devonshire Street were featured like I Care a Lot film. Greater Boston Association shared that Fairmont Copley Plaza Luxury hotel was renamed as Buchanan for the shooting of film. Another filming location was Weymouth where the singing of Ariana Grande was captured, a user shared that the shooting took place in Brockton City.
A town of Bristol country was also featured in the film along with other prominent locations such as Salisbury, Westborough, Canton, Chicopee, etc. Massachusetts Turnpike, Simpson Drive, Butterworth Park and Lariviere Road also serves as the location for the Netflix’s film.
