FILMING LOCATIONS

Where Was Age of Attraction Filmed? Every Real Location From the Netflix Show

You are watching Age of Attraction on Netflix, and then it hits you. The mountains in the background. The forest retreat. The turquoise river. You pause the episode and think, where on earth is this place?

You are not alone. This question is all over Reddit threads and Instagram comments right now. People cannot stop talking about how beautiful the scenery looks. And honestly, the locations might be just as interesting as the dating drama itself.

Created by Jennifer O’Connell and Rebecca Quinn of Velvet Hammer Media and is hosted by married couple Nick Viall and Natalie Joy, who have an 18-year age gap between them, the show premiered on Netflix on March 11, 2026, with the first five episodes releasing on that date, episodes six and seven following on March 18, and the finale dropping on March 25.

Here is everything you need to know about where Age of Attraction was filmed, broken down location by location.

Age of Attraction Filming Locations

Principal photography for Age of Attraction took place in summer 2025 across British Columbia, Canada. Filming covered both the Whistler and Squamish-Lillooet Regional District for the retreat phase and the city of Vancouver for the later real-world episodes.

Brew Creek Centre, Whistler, British Columbia

If you have already watched Age of Attraction, you have essentially spent several episodes inside one of the most private and exclusive retreat properties in all of Canada without realizing it. Located about 25 minutes south of Whistler Village and set on 20 private acres of dense woodland, Brew Creek Centre served as the primary filming location for the retreat phase of the show.

The cabins, the outdoor gathering spaces, the walking trails, the Promise Room, and the zigzag wooden bridge over the creek that appears throughout the early episodes are all part of this single property.

The creators were direct about why they chose this kind of setting over the usual beach resort formula. O’Connell told Deadline:

“There’s been a million dating shows on tropical islands, and I think we wanted to stand out a little bit, but also find a place that’s really beautiful.”

She added that the goal was to create a very high-end resort situation where contestants could enjoy nature and do lots of outdoorsy things, and that it was nice to shoot somewhere you have not seen a million times on reality TV.

The Promise Room featured throughout the retreat scenes is the property’s Meditation Hut, a Japanese-inspired space built from cedar with wrap-around windows and a central circular focal point. The zigzag wooden bridge was designed specifically to slow visitors down as they cross it.

⚠️ Visitor note: Brew Creek Centre is a private venue currently available only for corporate retreats and meetings. It is not open for general tourism or walk-in visits. Admire it from the screen only.

Whistler Train Wreck Trail and Cheakamus River, Whistler

One of the most visually striking locations in the entire show is the suspension bridge that crosses the turquoise waters of the Cheakamus River. That bridge sits along the Whistler Train Wreck Trail, an easy and relatively short hike south of Whistler Village that leads to seven graffiti-covered train boxcars resting in the forest. The trail appears more than once across the season, used for both the bridge scenes and the surrounding forest terrain.

The turquoise color of the Cheakamus River is real. It comes from glacial meltwater carrying fine rock particles that scatter light in a way that produces that distinctive blue-green tone. The trail itself is one of the most photographed spots in the Whistler area, and it is easy to see why the production kept coming back to it.

📍 How to visit: The Whistler Train Wreck Trail trailhead is located south of Whistler Village along the Sea to Sky Highway. It is a roughly 2 km return walk on a flat, well-worn path. Allow one to two hours to explore comfortably. The trail is open year-round but is best visited from late spring through fall. Free entry.

Superfly Ziplines, Cougar Mountain, Whistler

The zipline scene in Episode 2 was filmed at Cougar Mountain Basecamp, located about 10 minutes north of Whistler Village. The company operates tandem ziplines that stretch up to 1.6 km in length and reach heights of more than 200 meters between Cougar and Rainbow Mountains. The views of the valley and surrounding peaks from the zipline platform are genuinely extraordinary, and the show captures them well.

The zipline scene in episode 2 was filmed at Superfly Ziplines, Cougar Mountain, Whistler

📍 How to visit: Cougar Mountain Basecamp is accessible by road from Whistler Village. Superfly Ziplines operates tours throughout the warmer months. Booking in advance is recommended during summer. Check the Superfly Ziplines website for current pricing and availability.

Whistler Racket Club, Whistler

The third episode features a date scene filmed at the Whistler Racket Club, which offers tennis courts, pickleball courts, and axe throwing. It is one of the lighter location choices in the show, and the axe throwing in particular gives that episode a noticeably different energy from the forest and mountain settings around it.

📍 How to visit: The Whistler Racket Club is located within Whistler Village and is open to the public. Pickleball and tennis courts can be booked through their website, and axe throwing sessions are available on a drop-in or reservation basis.

Rockit Coffee Co., Creekside Village, Whistler

A quieter but memorable moment in the series was filmed at Rockit Coffee Co., a retro-themed cafe sitting inside Creekside Village at the southern end of Whistler. The interior of the cafe has a distinctly vintage look that sets it apart from the mountain lodge aesthetic of most other locations in the show.

Rockit Coffee Co was also featured in Age of Attraction series

📍 How to visit: Rockit Coffee Co. is located in Creekside Village, Whistler, and is open to the public. It is a roughly 5-minute drive from the main Whistler Village area.

Dreamcatcher Meadows, Pemberton Valley, British Columbia

Roughly 30 minutes north of Whistler, the Pemberton Valley opens up into something that looks completely different from the dense forests of the retreat. Wide farmland, the Lillooet River cutting through open meadows, and the dramatic Coast Mountains rising in every direction. This is where Dreamcatcher Meadows sits, and it is one of the most beautiful event venues in all of British Columbia.

The wine-tasting scene in the series was recorded here. So was the first kiss scene from Episode 1, filmed inside the vine-covered entertainment barn next to the Lillooet River on Pemberton Meadows. The property is a working horse farm and wedding venue, and the contrast between its open countryside setting and the enclosed forest of Brew Creek Centre gives the show a genuine visual range that most dating shows simply do not have.

📍 How to visit: Dreamcatcher Meadows is located in Pemberton Meadows, about 30 minutes north of Whistler via Highway 99. The property operates as a wedding and events venue. Public access outside of scheduled events is limited, but the surrounding Pemberton Valley is open and worth exploring.

Green Lake, Whistler

Green Lake appears in aerial footage throughout the season. It is a naturally turquoise alpine lake sitting just north of Whistler Village, and it is the base for seaplane arrivals that feature in the show. Harbour Air operates seaplane flights from Vancouver’s Coal Harbour to Green Lake, covering the 61 miles between the two locations in roughly 45 minutes.

Green Lake, Whistler

📍 How to visit: Green Lake is located just north of Whistler Village and is visible from the Valley Trail cycling and walking path. The lake is surrounded by residential properties, but the trail along its edge is publicly accessible. Seaplane flights with Harbour Air can be booked from Coal Harbour in Vancouver.

Wedge Rafting, Green River, Whistler Area

The rafting scene in mid-season was filmed with the Wedge Rafting crew, which runs river trips on several waterways near Whistler. The Green River is the most commonly used stretch for their shorter rafting trips, and it provides the kind of fast-moving water and forest canyon scenery that makes that episode pop visually.

📍 How to visit: Wedge Rafting operates from Whistler and offers half-day and full-day rafting experiences on rivers including the Green River and the Elaho-Squamish. Booking in advance is recommended, especially during peak summer months.

Point Atkinson Lighthouse, West Vancouver

The very first shot most viewers will remember from the singles introduction is a hydroplane flying past the Point Atkinson Lighthouse in West Vancouver. It is a brief establishing shot, but it immediately sets the tone and anchors the show geographically to the Pacific coast of British Columbia.

Point Atkinson Lighthouse, West Vancouver

📍 How to visit: Point Atkinson Lighthouse is located inside Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver, approximately 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver by car. The park is open to the public and free to enter. Several trails lead down to viewpoints near the lighthouse itself.

Coal Harbour and Vancouver Waterfront, Vancouver

Once couples move out of the retreat phase and into the real world, the cameras shift to Vancouver. Coal Harbour is one of the most recognizable Vancouver waterfront neighborhoods, marked by its marina, high-rise residential towers, and clear views across the water to the mountains of the North Shore. It is used for several city-based scenes in the later episodes.

📍 How to visit: Coal Harbour is easily accessible from downtown Vancouver on foot or by transit. The seawall walk along Coal Harbour is one of the most popular and scenic urban walks in the city.

📍 How to visit: All four are located in central Vancouver and open to the public for dining and accommodation bookings.

Why did the show film in British Columbia?

The choice was intentional and came directly from the top. The producers wanted somewhere that looked nothing like every other dating show on television. O’Connell and Quinn had a clear brief from the start: beautiful, outdoorsy, and not a tropical island. British Columbia gave them forests, mountains, rivers, lakes, and a world-class city all within a few hours of each other. That combination is what makes Age of Attraction look the way it does. Every frame has something worth looking at.
