Breakthrough is an American Christian drama film directed by American director Roxann Biggs Dawson from the screenplay by Grant Nieporte. It stars Chrissy Metz, Josh Lucas, and Mike Colter in the lead roles along with the other cast.
Based on the a non-fiction biography The Impossible by Joyce Smith and Ginger Kolbaba, the feature film follows the story of a teenager who falls into a frozen lake and trapped underwater for around 15 minutes.
