Directed by Christopher Sweeney, Back to Life is becoming one of the most popular drama on Netflix UK, starring Daisy Haggard as Miri Matteson who went to prison and fans are asking what did she do as she was in jail? The story is about a woman who is coming out from the prison after serving 18 years. She has committed a heinous crime at a very young age due to a misunderstanding and as she come back home, will her neighbors accept her or they will see the old devil Miri who is having a murderer tag now?
What did Miri Matteson do in Back to Life?
Miri has murdered her friend Lara when she was 18-years-old due to a misunderstanding between them. Mandy, the mutual friend made Lara believed that Miri was in a relationship with her(Lara’s) father and in reality Mandy was committed with Lara’s father.
On hearing that Miri is making relations with her dad, Lara confronted Miri and the dispute turned violent. However, in the end, Miri pushed Lara away from her and she falls off the Abbott cliff. After falling, her friend was not moving and there were no signs of life.
Yes, because she lost her life and Miri was the one who murdered her. Later, Miri get to know that Mandy was the real person who brainwashed her friend and made her believe fake relationship. She cried but that doesn’t bring Lara’s back to life.
