But without other leads to follow, the family makes a decision that they have no option but to pursue the potential.
Kyle and Diane Chase a Lead That Might Be a Trap

But there’s one big problem – this is Victor Newman we’re talking about.
Kyle and Diane both understand that Victor plots out his plays, which leaves them wondering if the clue is indeed real – or part of a more grand design. But if the lead is ignored, they will likely lose their best chance yet to find Jack.
So they choose to take that chance.
They might lead them to a marina that could be linked to Lake Michigan. If their theory is right, they could be closing in on Jack’s location.
But if Victor’s pulling the strings, Kyle and Diane might be heading directly into a deadly trap.
Nikki Starts to Suspect That Victor Is Not Telling the Entire Truth
As Abbotts desperate search continues, Nikki Newman begins to sense something strange about Victor’s behavior.

As his family searches for him, Jack finds himself cornered in an intense moments with Patty Williams.
At first, Jack might hope that Patty will let him go. But it soon becomes apparent that she isn’t entirely in charge.
Knowing that arguing is futile, Jack makes a decision to take an entirely different approach.
Rather than facing Patty, he starts reaching out to her emotions. Jack asks if she’ll show him around the yacht where he’s being held, thinking that if the area is familiar it could afford him an opportunity to get away.
Patty is amenable to that — but only under one condition.
She requests a kiss from Jack in return.
Having few choices, Jack accepts the offer. He indulges Patty’s feelings, because he hopes that he’ll gain her trust and maybe even create an opportunity to escape.
But this dicing strategy could backfire if they’re not careful.
Lauren Is Unnerved By Phyllis’ Surprise Proposal
In other Genoa City news, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin has Phyllis’ more-than-generous job offer on her mind.
Phyllis asks Lauren to join her at Newman Enterprises, which could definitely alter what happens next in Lauren’s career.
The offer is tempting, and also complicated.
Lauren realizes working with Phyllis up close and personal usually comes with some unforeseen drama. She might seek advice from Michael Baldwin before choosing.
But soon their conversation will be interrupted by shocking news.
With the news about Jack Abbott’s going missing spreading around Genoa City, this situation could start to become everyone’s biggest worry.
The mystery of Jack’s kidnapping only becomes more tangled, and with so many characters pursuing dangerous leads, the stakes keep rising.
