The Witcher Blood Origin is an American fantasy action series created by Declan de Barra and directed Sarah O’Gorman with Vicky Jewson. It will serve as the prequel to the popular Netflix TV series The Witcher that released back in 2019. The upcoming series is scheduled to arrive in the near future on the same streaming platform whose story opens with the origination of first Witcher and goes on exploring different civilization. Declan de Bara revealed in a tweet that The Witcher Blood Origin series has wrapped up filming on 21 Nov 2021 and went into post production. Considering post production period gonna take time, we can expect the series to premiere in June 2022 on Netflix. The number of total episodes might differ as it is the prequel series.

Synopsis
The plot sets nearly 1200 years ago, the time before the arrival of any Witcher. It will take us back in the time when the continent was having a normal life without any Geralt of Rivia, exploring through the creation of first Witcher. The ancient Elven civilization was having networks all over the world before getting extinct. Moreover, the events will be explored that leads to the conjunction of the spheres.
