Episode 3 Recap
As we were expecting in the episode 3 spoilers, Morty got involved in a serious relationship with Planetina but breakup very soon and the relationship ends up as a catastrophe. Morty kills the people who were controlling the super person and set her free from aliens who were using her for their benefits. When he asked Beth to take Planetina with him, Beth refused as she was much older than son.
Later on, we saw the super-girl was executing thousands of miners on the name of saving the planet. Then, Morty decides to breakup with her and said goodbye to their relationship. This was the first time we saw Morty break an older girl’s heart and shows his maturity. His intelligence level is rising and soon he start making more wise decisions regarding relationships.
Rick plans to get involve in meaningless sex with aliens without getting attached to any of them but he breaks the plan himself by getting involved in a next level relationship with an alien. He confused us if he is in love with Daphne or he was just training Summer to spot a fake relationship. It seems like Summer caught Daphne’s plans and destroyed the asteroid that was about to finish off the planet on which Rick was standing. Summer did this to prove that Daphne was only using Rick to survive. Rick becomes sad for a while but he gets over with it soon and Morty ended crying in her mother’s arms.
What to expect from Rick and Morty Season 5 episode 4?
In the last 3 episodes, we have seen that there is no correlation between subsequent episodes and each episode is having a new story. If Rick and Morty Season 5 episode 4 continues the story where the last episode ended then we can expect Morty spending time with his father and mother as he has recently gone through another heartbreak. Morty is a adventurous guy so he might get bored in his father’s workshop and we can expect some good humor there.
On the other hand, Rick might end up creating another idiotic invention that will destroy his lab instead of doing something productive. The man has a ton of knowledge but his wrong execution always make things worse than ever. So, we might expect that he will continue his nonsense experiments and making new monsters. As the last ep was full of heartbreaks and sadness, we can expect to see love and compassion in this episode.
