Directed by the legendary Zack Snyder, Rebel Moon is a 2023 epic space opera film that takes us through the Motherworld, where a corrupted government has taken the control and the moon of Veldt is threatened by the forces of Imperium.
Kora, a former member of the rebel forces has made a promise to herself, she must confront Motherworld’s forces before they return to the planet. For that purpose, she is recruiting warriors across different galaxies.
The movie is produced by Eric Newman, Wesley Coller, Jack Snyder and wife Deborah Snyder under The Stone Quarry and Grand Electric.

Is Rebel Moon on Amazon Prime?
Negative, Captain! Amazon Prime doesn’t have the keys to this lunar kingdom. The movie is neither included in the regular Prime Video subscripton nor it has been released as VOD on the Bezos network.
But there is something you can do with your Prime Video subscription, you can stream Prime Original shows, including The Boys, Fringe, Gen V, The Man in the High Castle, Grimm, Outer Range, Person of Interest, The Peripheral, etc.

The movie had a limited theatrical release in the United States on December 15, 2023. This means it only played in a select number of theaters. So, it might be difficult to find depending on your location. You can check theater listings websites like Fandango or Atom Tickets to see if it’s still playing near you.
Streaming on Netflix
If you’re not able to catch it in theaters, you’re in luck! Rebel Moon is also available to stream on Netflix starting December 21, 2023. So if you have a Netflix subscription, you can watch it from the comfort of your own couch.
The movie has cool visuals and action scenes with spaceships and battles. But some critics said the story and characters were not very original. They also said it was too much like other sci-fi movies.
An extended version of “Rebel Moon Part One: A Child of Fire” with more footage will come out in 2024. A sequel called “Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver” will also be released in April 2024.
