As far we know, In Episode 17 Kasumi discovers the real power of Maki. Kasumi thinks that her katana will be more effective than the spear of another girl. Thinking that she jumps in the middle of Maki’s war. But She was wrong, Maki breaks her Katana in two and throw those apart.

Maki is appearing more and more powerful as his sister fires an extra bullet using her construction technique but he catches the bullet right in the air. The episode 17 concludes after this scene.
