Alex Rider Season 3 is an upcoming season of an English spy thriller series directed by Andreas Prochaska, Christopher Smith, Rebecca Gatward, & Jon Jones, and written by Guy Burt.
Based on the novel sequence of the same name by British author Anthony Horwitz, the TV show follows a London teenager recruited by Department of Special Ops to infiltrate a controversial academy.
The series is produced by Mat Chaplin under Eleventh Hour Films and Sony Pictures Television. It also serves as the second screen adaptation of Horwitz novels after Stormbreaker(2006).
When is Alex Rider Season 3 coming out?
The series is not officially renewed for a third season but if the series gets a renewal announcement by Sep 2022 then we can expect Alex Rider season 3 to be released around April 2023 on Amazon Prime Video. It will have a total of eight episodes.
But that will happen only if a third season is confirmed by Amazon. As of now, no release date has been announced for the 3rd part of the series. Neither the series is renewed nor it has been cancelled by the creators.
Season 1 was released in June 2020 and wasn’t renewed until November 2020. A second season was officially announced on 10 Nov 2020 that started premiering in Dec 2021.
Is Alex Rider renewed?
Some reports claim that the series has been renewed for a third season in May 2021 but Amazon hasn’t revealed anything. If a third season is under production then it is a good news for fans.
Meanwhile, you can also wait for similar series like Sherlock Holmes Season 5, Hanna, The Lost Symbol, The Endgame, Sweet Tooth season 2, Reacher, Condor, Shadow and Bone, etc.

Most of all the characters are expected to return in the third season except for the ones who died in the second season as Damian(played by Toby Stephens). Some new faces will be also introduced in the upcoming season but for now, there is no official information.

What will happen in Season 3 of Alex Rider?
We saw at the end of season 2 that Damian develops a special supercomputer than can produce nuclear codes with the help of game logins. Now, he can easily manipulate president because he is having control over nukes and missiles.
Damian can control all the criminal activities of the country so he might choose to start a rampage. On the flipside, he can eliminate the drug dealers to disrupt the supply chain and halt the supplies leading to the certain death of addicts all over the world.
Alex will probably come to save the innocent lives but Damian will defeat him badly causing Yassen to interfere and kill Damian while he is trying to attack Alex. Yassen advice Alex to find Widow and Scorpio and leaves as MI6 arrives.
