New World is a 2021 reality TV series created by Go Min-seok and Cho Hyo-jin and is streaming on Netflix streaming platform. It follows six celebrities who are left alone on a Utopian island to survive by competing against each other for the virtual currency that can be converted into real cash later on the last day of their stay.

Where is Netflix’s New World Filmed?
New World was filmed in and around the Odeo island, Geoje City during June-July 2021, according to some official reports by Netflix. The place is famous for a western-style botanical garden named Hallyeohaesang National Park.
Most of the places were barren inside Geoje City but since the K-Dramas came into existence, the place transformed into a paradise on Earth. Now, the island is accessible and exposed to everyone.
