Where is I Care A Lot Filmed? Netflix Movie Review, Cast & Filming Locations

I Care A Lot is a dark comedy thriller movie starring Rosamund Pike, Peter Dinklage, Eiza Gonzalez, Chris Messina, and Dianne Wiest in the main roles. The film is directed and written by J Blakeson. The story moves around a sociopath lady, Marla Grayson who loots senior citizens in a very hilarious manner. She follows a scheme in which she invites senior citizens to come at her place and turn them into her clients.

One day, she gets locked with all of her clients and finds out that there is an unmarried woman who is having a good property but doesn’t have any family or relatives. Probably, this is the jackpot for Marla or it’s time to confess.

I Care A Lot Netflix Movie Review

I Care a Lot is an ironical title for the Netflix film as it is all about looting senior citizens. Probably, this care word is to emphasize on their money. Marla Grayson is a dead-eyed ice queen who cares about the assets, properties, and belongings of people. She believes in the existence of only two type of people, Predator and prey or Lions and Lambs. You have to hunt or get hunted just like in the world of eat or be eaten.

Writer-director J Blakeson is trying to portray two women: Marla and business partner Fran. When the duo got Jennifer Peterson, the oldie with no family and relatives but she is so rich and a perfect match for type of person that Marla was looking. They decided to lock up her in the room with no access to outside world and forced her to handover her property.

To her surprise, this woman was having close connections with Russian Mafia boss Lunyov and this time Marla is in danger. Predator becomes prey now and her role is reversed.

Marla and Roman are actually doing the same things. The only difference is that Martha hides in a plain sight and Lunyov works from the shadows. Whatever role Rosamund Pike and Peter Dinklage are playing, they are the main personalities with whom we can relate the reality. The plot is more like dog-eat-dog but there is only singular truth.

I Care A Lot Movie is streaming on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video UK now.
