Konosuba Season 3 episode 1 has been leaked online ahead of its premiere on Crunchyroll. Though, the leakers are still under investigation, fans are claiming that reason behind the issue arose because Crunchyroll is still using Funimation servers.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for a third season since last seven years and, if this kind of news come out then, the show is going to suffer. It will be having 10 episodes in total with a running time of 20 minutes.
Kazuma and Megumin’s dating might be revealed in the coming season. For your information, Konosuba is a Japanese anime series that first released on 14 January 2016 and proved to be a massive hit among animation lovers worldwide.
After the success of season 1, the show was renewed and season 2 released after one year on 12 January 2017 and since that time, fans are waiting for another season of their favorite anime.
When will Konosuba Season 3 be released?
Konosuba Season 3 will be released on April 10, 2024 as per Anime News and Network. It will have ten episodes in total with an average running time of 20 minutes, and will stream on Crunchyroll, like previous two seasons.
Currently, 4 volumes of the short novel series are completed and if you are fond of reading the anime novels then you might aware that there are a total of 18 volumes of Konosuba.
Also, writer Natsume Akatsuki has revealed that he is looking forward to add more stories for the show in the future.
So, this season will probably began the story after the 8th volume as three volumes were used in the adaptation of An Explosion on This Wonderful World!, which aired from April 6, 2023 to June 22, 2023 on Crunchyroll.

Is KonoSuba season 3 Cancelled?
Konosuba light novel was ended with the release of final 17th volume in Japan on 1 May 2020 by author Natsume Akatsuki. However, the anime-series is still ongoing as it has covered the story up to 4th volume in the end of second season.
Moreover, a season 3 is planned to release on Crunchyroll in April 2024. Though, the details about the returning characters remain scarce, we can expect the return of all our MCs like Kazumo Satou, Aqua, Devil King, Megumin, and Darkness.

This time, a new princess is also joining the team of Kazuma. A second trailer was released on March 1, 2024.
Plot
Kazuma is a free-spirited guy from high school who seems to have no connection with the world so she doesn’t care about anything. One day, he meets the goddess Aqua who tells him to walk in the same equal world as his, and there she will be given MMORPG components but he will have to fight various dangerous monsters.
What is the storyline of KonoSuba Season 3?
Also, we can expect the return of Kazuma, Megumin and Darkness in the upcoming season. A single season of Konosuba covers 2 volume of light novel and currently 17 light novels are published of the manga series. So, the story is not over yet and we can expect it to return for another season.
Now, Kazuma has to defeat the devil king, or else he will never be able to get back from this world. He makes his squad and in his journey two young girls also fall in love with him.
