Re: Zero Season 2 is based on the light novels written by Tappei Nagatuski. It has been illustrated by another Japanese Shin’ichirō Ōtsuka into anime. The story is about a boy Subaru Natsuki, who gets transported into a fantasy world and thought that he might have superpowers now. When he tries to use his abilities, he found no magic and feel disappointed. Surprisingly, he is having the power that nobody has in the real world, the power of resurrection means he is immortal.

Episode 16 Preview
While Subaru goes to talk to a humble Emilia, Otto wants to stop Garfiel. We are given a look at Otto’s past and his unique ability to communicate with animals. The feeling of isolation that he has experienced since he was a child has finally found him a friend in Subaru.
Back in the present, despite his best efforts, there is no match for Otto Garfiel. But then Rama arrives and sides with Otto. Working together, they quickly defeat Garfiel. In the ruins, Subaru finally manages to get through Emilia and the episode ends when they kiss.
