The original Japanese animation studio Ufotable announced that that a third season will be made that will continue the story of Tanjiro in the Swordsmith village. The anime series is based on the Japanese manga of the same name written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge in Feb 2016 to May 2020 in the weekly shonen magazine. Demon Slayer manga was first adapted into an anime by Ufotable in 2019 and become a massive success. Moreover, the series was praised among fans for its dark fantasy theme and detailed action scenes. Will there be a season 3 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba?

Yes, there will be a season 3 of Demon Slayer as per announcement made by the original anime creators with the two character posters featuring two different Hashiras. Director Haruo Sotozaki and chief animation director Akira Matsushima are returning to reprise their respective roles to make another hit season.

If you are an avid manga reader then you must know that in the upcoming season will begin from the Swordsmith arc in which Tanjiro moved to the swordsmith village to get his sword fixed but finds out that Hotaru has been disappeared before sometime. The protagonist will also managed to meet two new Hashiras on his journey to find the swordsmith.
