Recently, Masashi Kishimoto has replaced Kodachi as the writer since November 2020 and from now onwards he will continue writing for the coming episodes of the series.

Episode 187 Recap
In episode 187, Boruto defeated Mr. AO utilizing vanishing Rasengan, Kashin Koji arrives and summon Steam Toad. The summoning brought about large destruction, however Mr. Ao makes use of Water Style: Water Shockwave to save lots of Boruto.
