A Winter Getaway Filming Locations

A Winter Getaway was filmed in various parts of Manitoba and Alberta in Canada. The shooting was completed in almost 3 months considering the Covid-19 pandemic and social-distancing norms, filming was not that easy.

Southport, Manitoba

The airplane hangar scene was shot at this place. This place is famous for housing the Canadian Air Force for almost 50 years and a major contributor to the country’s economy.

Kananaskis Country, Alberta

This part of Alberta is situated in the west of Calgary and famous for its special mountains, river, and running water. In the movie, Banff National Park is shown that is also located in Alberta province and it is also a part of Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks.
